Plastic pollution 🌍

Hello everyone!

Today we are going to talk about a really important issue: plastic pollution.

Why is it plastic pollution so important and so dangerous?

• It is everywhere.
• It contaminates our beaches, our oceans and our ground.
• It is really durable so it never really goes away.
• It threatens our wildlife, for example, birds and fishes can ingest microplastics which are in our oceans or can get trapped in some plastic waste.

Since plastic threatens our environment, animals and even ourselves, it is really important to try to use less plastic so that the plastic crisis doesn't get worse than it already is.

For our next class I will need that each of you think about 2 ideas for reduce our plastic consumption and write them down. Actually, it would be very difficult to reduce our consumption to zero, but we have to try and the best way is to start with small changes.

I give you one example: you can replace your toothbrush for a bamboo toothbrush, which is biodegradable.
