Women in Science ♀️

Hello everyone!

This is our first activity.

Today I want you to listen to this video about the important scientific Marie Curie. Had you heard about her before? I am sure you had.

It is really important to make scientific women visible because in this field we tend to focus only on men. However, there are many women who were really important, but not so recognized.

Firstly, you will have to write your name and email, so that I can check your answers. Then, you should listen carefully to her story because as the video advances it will appear some questions. You will have to answer them and if it is possible write them down. Of course, you can turn on the English or Spanish subtitles, as you prefer.

We will have a look at the video and at your answers in our next class on Monday. Moreover, I want you to search for other women who were important in science because we will talk about them on Monday too.
